In-Person Retreat
FAQ’s
Will I feel welcome at an in-person retreat?
Retreat, Reflect, Renew’s mission is to create sacred space for people to reflect and grow in faith. We do our best to provide a welcoming environment no matter where you are in your faith journey.
Whether you attend church every week or haven’t been in a long time, we would love to share the retreat with you.
What can I expect at an in-person retreat?
You will process information and experience God in your own way. We honor this by offering four elements designed to empower you to walk in your own way, at your own pace.
A Retreat, Reflect, Renew retreat will always include:
A reflection (with Scripture, prayer, and a poem or music)
Personal time (with questions to draw you within)
Sharing (in a respectful way and with the option to pass)
Experiential activity (such as a meditation or art activity)
What can I expect from the sharing time?
Retreat, Reflect, Renew is committed to providing a safe and loving sharing experience.
During each retreat, we offer time to share in small groups. This is a structured experience, and you are always free to pass. The Retreat Sharing Agreements will be read beforehand to ensure a respectful time. Participants often comment on how much they appreciate the respectful, confidential, and non-judgmental sharing. Learn more about the ministry’s Sharing Philosophy.
Is this a women’s retreat?
We welcome all who want to participate in our retreats.
How is COVID affecting the retreats?
Covid protocol is up to the retreat center or church hosting the retreat.
