Day Retreat
Our day retreats are now on zoom.
Thank you to those who joined us for this special day. More information on our next retreat coming soon.
When you are asking the big questions…
Who am I? What is my purpose? Who is God? If you are holding these questions deep in your heart, come bring them into our sacred space where we will reflect, pray, and share them in a way that inspires you to grow deeper into your journey of faith.
These questions are a life-long journey of discovering your true self and discovering God. With a special mix of reading, reflecting, journaling, sharing, and experiential practices, we invite you to a journey of exploration while helping you appreciate all that you already are in God’s eyes.
Before attending one of your retreats I felt disconnected to my faith and myself. I appreciated meeting women who were positive, inspiring, and compassionate about saying yes to taking caring of themselves. Now I’m feeling less guilty for taking time out for myself and I’m learning to find a happy balance in my life with God.

Meet Christine
Hello. I have been in retreat ministry for the past fifteen years. Before working in the area of spiritual growth, I was a TV reporter and anchor for ten years. Being in a room full of people seeking reflection, growth, and renewal is my absolute favorite place to be, but I have been enjoying my time sharing with others on zoom and I would love for you to join me. It is possible to have a relaxing retreat via video conference and meaningful conversation with this medium. I hope to see you soon! You can Learn more about me here.

FAQs
How is COVID-19 affecting the retreats?
Typically, we hold our day retreats at Mercy Center Auburn, which is closed at this time and hoping to re-open soon. Until that happens, Mercy Center will be hosting our virtual day retreats via zoom.
Will I feel comfortable?
We do our best to provide a welcoming environment no matter where you are in your faith journey or what denomination you come from. Whether you attend church every week or haven’t been in a long time, we would love to share the day with you. If you are new to video conferencing or not very comfortable with zoom, please know you can experience the retreat however you want to experience it. You can keep your video off if you wish.
What can I expect?
If you are tired of being on zoom, you will appreciate these retreats. You will not be staring at a screen for six hours! There will be movement and personal time. A Retreat, Reflect, Renew retreat will always have:
A reflection (with scripture, prayer, and poem or music)
Personal time (with questions to draw you within)
Sharing (in a respectful way and with the option to pass)
Experiential activity (such as a walking or art meditation)
What can I expect from the sharing time?
Retreat, Reflect, Renew is committed to providing a safe and loving sharing experience. During our retreats, we offer time to share in groups of four to five. This will be a structured experience and you are always free to pass. The Retreat Sharing Agreements, (PDF) will be read beforehand to ensure a respectful time. Participants often comment on how much they appreciate the respectful, confidential, and non-judgmental sharing.
Is this a women’s retreat?
We are open to anyone who wants to participate in our retreats. We do have men occasionally participate with rich insight and we welcome them but it is mostly women who attend.
How is this different than the four-week online retreat?
Because this retreat is live on zoom, you have the opportunity to experience the retreat’s concepts with meditations and acitivities and live sharing. Afterwards, you may want to take the online retreat to go more in depth with the subject. Learn about the four-week online retreat here.
Do you provide scholarships?
Yes, please email us if you would like a partial scholarship.
