Seeking Hope, Peace, and Joy

For many, this Advent season will be like no other. The pandemic has changed our way of life and many of us will be wondering what that looks like for a season that is usually marked by gatherings and busy preparations. How can we allow this time of uncertainty to be an invitation to experience the true meaning of Advent? How are we called to surrender our expectations - like Mary did in her own unexpected situation - and look for new hope, peace, and joy?

Each retreat on hope, peace, and joy will be unique and special in its own way. You can expect all of them to offer:

  • Meditative prayer

  • A thought-provoking presentation

  • Reflective time to journal

  • Personal time with an experiential activity

  • Time to share with the option to pass

  • The invitation to experience the retreat however you need to - with your video screen on or off.
